Helping hedgehogs

Wildlife night safaris

Come and join me in my wildlife garden in York for a night safari.

Wild hedgehog in hedgehog boxI’ll give a talk about how to help our wild hedgehogs and answer all your hedgehog questions. I’ll also share my top tips for how to create your very own wildlife garden. Then we will explore my wildlife garden at night. We’ll see newts, tadpoles and frogs in the pond. If we are really lucky we will see visiting hedgehogs at the feeding stations and perhaps even a bat and hear tawny owls calling.

The night safaris are limited to 8 people so this is a brilliant opportunity to have me all to yourselves and ask me anything that you want to know about hedgehogs.

Late Spring garden 2018 smallPlease check out my events page for details of these forthcoming night safaris and how to book. You’ll also find details of my next day time Open House – a chance to explore the garden in daylight and peruse my handmade silver nature jewellery.

If you can’t make the event, you can still support my work in other ways here. You can also read my top tips for creating a wildlife garden and purchasing a wildlife camera to record the night life in your own garden.

Hedgehog feeding stationI also give talks about helping hedgehogs and can appraise your garden to make suggestions on how to improve it for wildlife. I focus on the area within 10 miles of York. I do make a charge for these events and services to help raise funds for my rescue work, which is entirely self-funded. You can read more about my work and what your donations support here.
