Hedgehog events, talks, courses and media

I have well over a decade’s experience as a hedgehog rehabilitator and wildlife gardener. I regularly give talks to groups ranging from 5 to 500 people and have a background working in marketing and public relations as a freelancer for charities and non profits.

I offer a number of services that help raise funds for my wildlife work:

Hedgehog courses – I run a range of online courses focused on helping hedgehogs and wildlife. This includes basic first aid for wild hedgehogs, wild hedgehog foster care and wildlife gardening for hedgehogs. You can find my latest online courses here.

Talks – I have experience of giving talks to a wide range of group sizes. I’m able to talk to your group, business or society about both hedgehogs and wildlife gardening. I make a charge for talks to cover my time and travel costs. Please drop me a line if you are interested in me visiting your group.

Silver clay jewellery courses. I will soon be launching jewellery workshops from my new studio in the Yorkshire Wolds. Dates will be published here when they are available but you can also contact me and I will add you to the mailing list to receive information about courses.

Open Days – I will be running a number of wildlife garden open days to showcase our rewilding project here in the Yorkshire Wolds and practical tips for making your garden wildlife friendly. When dates are announce they will be published here.

Media: I have over 20 years experience working in marketing and public relations. I have used my skills to raise awareness of hedgehogs in the local and national news. You can see some examples below. I am available for interview and can also advise charities, individuals and businesses on how to use the media to raise awareness.

Partnerships and collaborations: I am always happy to collaborate with individuals and brands that fit with my values of sustainability, ethical shopping, the environment and helping wildlife.
