Support & Donate

Spring garden hedgehog by Little Silver Hedgehog

My work saving hedgehogs is entirely self funded and it’s a very costly business. Take a read here about all the costs involved. Without support, wildlife rescues cannot continue their vital work and thousands of hedgehogs would not survive.

You can help to support my work in the following ways:

Donate: Make a donation towards food, vet bills and medications. You can send a payment or set up  up a monthly direct debit to the hedgehogs’ account: Lloyds Bank 30-96-26 39275168. The name of the account is Little Silver Hedgehog Rescue.

You can also donate via paypal here.

Buy the hedgehogs a gift: The hedgehogs love surprises and you can see what’s on their food and equipment wish list here.

Buy my jewellery: My handmade silver jewellery is inspired by nature and wildlife and it all raises funds for my rescue work. It is a great gift for anyone who loves wildlife. A beautiful gift that gives back.

Join an event: Join me in York for a hedgehog talk and wildlife garden safari. I run a number of evening and daytime events throughout the year. I can also come and talk to your group or run a special event just for your business or organisation. I also run a number of open houses (now online) where you can peruse my silver wildlife jewellery and also online courses in first aid for wild hedgehogs and wild hedgehog foster care. Find out more about my events here.

Donate as you shop online at no cost to you: If you can’t afford a donation, you can still sign up to EasyFundraising and the hedgehogs will receive a donation every time you shop online. It costs you nothing! You can even download a toolbar that reminds you about donations on your favourite shopping sites.

My freelance work in marketing and PR also enables me to continue running the rescue on a voluntary basis. Read more about my day job here.

Just take a look at some of the gorgeous prickly faces that your contribution will help save!

A huge thank you for your support

Love from Emma and the hedgehogs
